What kind of lighting would be best for a patio umbrella electric battery, or solar?
I wish I had one of those umbrellas patio lights along the inside of the ribs. 'm Not excited about running an electrical cord, but wonder how time the batteries would last on a battery-operated umbrella. Or an umbrella with solar lights operated satisfactory.
go electric. too low solar, batteries do not last. I found a kit that links the ribs.
What self producing energy products out there can save you money in your household?
If you like the list of solar, geothermal and wind. Products that can actually be purchased by regular consumers. Thank you
Wind and solar are the best, in fact there are many people who have installed wind turbines as producers of energy for their homes and sells enrgy the excess back to PG & E. In most cases, the Upstream Energy sold to the utility exceeds their monthly electricity bills so at the end of the month, they have control of energy instead of a bill.
What are the expected savings from the installation of solar systems residential PWR (Nass Cnty, NY)?
Interested the solar system is uncertain expected to save / back and want to validate the utility requests. Also, the contractor would contact useful.
Right now, it is not profitable. As products improve, become more widely available and cheaper, it will be very realistic. Also, I think the major tax incentives will eventually implemented to help people cope with the ivestment. You are on the right track, but as a customer, you're a little ahead of your time.
I need help finding a good lighting setup for my mast.?
I have a mast that is far enough ways the nearest electrical source. I am a stickler real when it comes to keeping the flag lit at night, so it is important to me I receive a large installation. I know there are all kinds of wired options, but that would involve half of the trenches of the court and the rewiring things in the house. Not much fun. Solar sounds good, until he died by midnight. (We have trees in the region to Solar is not always a good way to go). What is it? Do they make battery packs for lighting? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
If your mast is 25 "or less, the sunlight is great: http://www.quinnflags.com/productDetails.asp?CatId=3&SubCatId=225&CategoryName=Flagpole+Lighting&Id=2163
